Furlow-4400 edit

This is our family. Me, Clay, and our three kids. We have lived an abundantly blessed life. Clay and I have both known Jesus since we were around 5 years old. We have been in church and surrounded by Godly people our whole lives. God has never left us or forsaken us, so we know He won’t leave us now. We trust in His unfailing love.

He is real and when we know Him that relationship gives us the courage and hope to keep living. Prayers to each of you for God’s Grace, Mercy, and Courage but most of all a God-sized miracle! Kristy & Clay,
Tricia, Caroline, Molly & I have been with you in Spirit since beginning, as we have had you in our daily prayers by name…..we love you & children and know how important His Word and Prayer are with you all…..felt Jesus urge me to finally reach out today, while you 2 apart physically while Clay in surgery – best part is you are still TOGETHER, spiritually and through your HEARTS, our heart is where Jesus lives forever and gives me my true feelings and thoughts, surely y’all as well…..stay courageous, chase away fear and Devil, he’s doing his best to doubt our God, but you not letting and it gives all of us on the sidelines cheering you on the courage to stay within ourselves and keep the faith. The closer get to 100% Faith, the less fear has any grip, as they are polar opposites – “danger is real, fear is a choice” – Godspeed and God Bless. Michael D.

Thank you for sharing your experience. My father had brain surgery at MD Anderson and like Clay he wanted the uncomfortable head bandage off too. Seeing all the pictures makes it feel like I was just there yesterday. Love and prayers to all of you!

Hey Kristy, I am one of the ones who can identify with a craniotomy. On April 30th, 1980, Gabriel, who was 9 mo. old at the time, fell and hit his head and got a subdural hematoma and had to have an emergency craniotomy that night!! Ralph Anzivino had me share the testimony at Hosanna Senior Chapel about 1995. I put it on my Facebook page every year at this time. This year, I posted it on my April 28th. When you have time, I encourage you to go on my page to read it. I know that you will see the hand of God and identify in many ways. Praying for you all!! ♡

Clay & Christie…as a better alternative to your present hardship, I would have much preferred to remain as neighbors in Comite Hills to discover firsthand the depth of your strength and the treasure that you and your family is. Truly have been left speechless as I read your blog posts, see your pics. Lorri challenged me to visit your blog.

So very very proud of who you both are. Blessed to see how you are overcoming with great joy and inspiration. Keep rejoicing. I’ve been there and we are left with the choice each moment – to protest or praise. Let Christ continue to reign supreme in your lives. Love Y’all !!!

    PS Clay…you are a stud 💪

My family lived in Comte Hills and worshiped at Immanuel for the teenage years of our 2. We love all the folks in that group and are blessed to keep in touch with a few. Our daughter Donna and son Jono have shared the news of Clay and his condition. You are all on our prayer lists here in Newnan, GA.
Amy Rogers….love to you….thanks for sharing this wonderful song of Fatih!

    Clay,

This may be somewhat of a surprise, it is to me but certainly not coincidence.

You randomly began popping in to my head, briefly, about 3 months ago. I didn’t think anything of it then I was praying about 2 months ago and there you were again. So I prayed for you, and your family if you had one, not knowing what’s going on in your life. The thoughts were random to me because I couldn’t figure out why after so long I began thinking about a guy I haven’t seen since we road the bus together to middle school. Now I know. I came in to the office this morning and thought of you again. Curiosity did me in, I “scratched my head” for a bit and decided to search for you online.

I am thankful to see you are surrounded by a beautiful family and Christian brothers and sisters during a trying time and thankful that you’re drawing your strength from the Father. I will continue praying for you and your family and friends. Keep fighting the good fight brother and remember He is with you all every second of every day. Your old friend, Denny Chustz

Denny, I just had a chance to read this to Clay. We are in the chemo room for his infusion and we both have tears in our eyes. Thank you for writing to us. I’m also thanking the Lord for the way He puts things in our hearts. What a neat story about how God loves us and directs us. Thank you for praying. Kristy.

Hi Kristi, You don’t know me but someone posted your blog, and it came up on my feed. Your strength and coursage are an encouragement to me. My husband is battling stage IV prostate cancer. Diagnosed in May 2016 with metastisis to bones and spine. It is extremely painful at times, but we know God is more than able.
A precious friend of mine passed a couple of years ago, of glioblastoma multiform. Her name waa Tracey Clarke. She was a mighty warrior, a woman of God. She blogged about her experience, until her husband started blogging for her. She was a brilliant artist and you can find her if you google Tracey Clarke Artist.
My thoughts and prayers are with you, as you walk your precious husband home.

    Kristy,

My prayers have been with and will continue for your family. I would like to think that my Princess (Karen) was right there with Jesus, along with a host of other angels whose lives were touched by the two of you, to welcome him Home.

Whenever someone we love is in Heaven, there’s a little bit of heaven in our home.

Peace to you and your family,

This past Sunday was the first time my husband and I attended FNT. The love we saw toward your family was so profound. The words spoken about your husband, I wished I had known this man who was so loved. When you talked about how the ballgames and Netflix didn’t matter to him anymore, it really stuck with me about what is and isn’t important in our Walk. I have been searching for a church like this so long. Everywhere we have attended in the past 15 yrs has gone to one service and hiding the Holy Spirit. We have been thirsty for true Worship. I believe we have found what we are looking for and look forward to getting to know the FNT family. God Bless you and yours during this difficult time of transition and may His peace that passes all understanding sustain you.
